40456 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Education: How much, if any, did the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, spend on the carbon neutral government programme in the 2024/25 financial year?

Hon Erica Stanford: I am advised that the Ministry of Education (the Ministry) spent $3.5 million as planned on the Carbon Neutral Government Programme (CNGP) in the 2024/25 financial year, which includes the transition of the Ministry’s vehicle fleet. I am advised that the New Zealand Qualifications Authority has spent $13,000 on the CNGP in the 2024/25 financial year. I am advised that the Education Review Office has spent $11,620 on the CNGP in the 2024/25 financial year. I am advised that Education New Zealand spent $13,293 on the CNGP in the 2024/25 financial year.
