40454 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Education: How much, if any, has the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, budgeted for the carbon neutral government programme in the 2025/26 financial year?

Hon Erica Stanford: I am advised that the Ministry of Education (the Ministry) has budgeted $50,000 for the reporting and auditing work to support Carbon Neutral Government Programme (CNGP) for the 2025/26 financial year. I am advised that the New Zealand Qualifications Authority has budgeted $10,000 for the CNGP in 2025/26 financial year. I am advised that the Education Review Office has budgeted $12,500 for the CNGP in 2025/26 financial year. I am advised that Education New Zealand has budgeted $16,000 for the CNGP in 2025/26 financial year.
