40444 (2026). Tangi Utikere to the Minister for Rail: Further to the reply to written question 35239 (2026), what was the date and value of each of the three variations to Beca Ltd's contract, and who approved each variation?

Rt Hon Winston Peters: The original contract value was $950,000. There have been three variations: - $550,000 on 5 December 2025 for technical services. - $1.6 million on 13 April 2026 for technical services. - A secondment of an Acting General Manager - Infrastructure from 13 October 2025 to 6 February 2026, at a rate of $400 per hour.
