Tangi Utikere to the Minister for Rail: Further to the replies to written questions 37881 (2026) and 35239 (2026), given that the number of variations to Beca Ltd's contract was disclosed in the latter, on what basis is the number of variations across all Ferry Holdings Ltd contracts withheld?

Rt Hon Winston Peters: One was a narrow scope information request which could be readily prepared. The other was a generic request involving extensive collation, plus other considerations under the Official Information Act 1982.
