40436 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister for Food Safety: In the Minister’s departments, ministries and agencies, if any, how many employees, if any, have lost or are set to lose their roles, and provide a service to customers, between 27 November 2023 and 10 July 2024?

Hon Andrew Hoggard: Hon Todd McClay as the Minister responsible for the Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI), has been leading the cost savings work with MPI. I have received regular oral updates on proposals, which will be finalised as part of Budget 2024.
