40431 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Corrections: How much, if any, has the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, budgeted for the carbon neutral government programme in the 2025/26 financial year?

Hon Mark Mitchell: Further to my response to WPQ 24317 (2025), I am advised that Corrections’ budget for the Carbon Neutral Government Programme has been finalised and direct operational costs associated with the Carbon Neutral Government Programme remains $0.02 million. This excludes staff costs relating to Corrections’ overall sustainability work. I am further advised that there has been a change in budget to the Capital Plan projects in relation to the electric vehicle and boiler replacement programme, with an updated allocation of $13.03 million.
