40427 (2026). Tangi Utikere to the Minister for Rail: Further to the replies to written questions 37913 (2026) and 37239 (2026), why was a review commenced for best practice reasons and unprompted by any complaint or finding scoped as a targeted review rather than a general one?

Rt Hon Winston Peters: It would be ridiculous to review every procurement given the shipbuilding procurement went through a standard international procurement on the recommendation of the Treasury.
