40410 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister for the Environment: In the Minister’s departments, ministries and agencies, if any, what percentage of employees who have lost or are set to lose their roles, if any, are located in the Auckland Region, between 27 November 2023 and 10 July 2024?

Hon Penny Simmonds: Consultation with staff on the proposed new structure for the Ministry for the Environment closed on the 2 July 2024. The Ministry is considering staff feedback on the proposed structure prior to final decisions which are proposed to be announced at the end of July. However, between the dates in question we have not lost roles specific to the Auckland Region.
