40405 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Agriculture: How much, if any, did the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, spend on the carbon neutral government programme in the 2024/25 financial year?

Hon Todd McClay: I am advised that for the 2024/25 financial year, the Ministry for Primary Industries allocated a budget of $36,000 for independent verification of its 2024/25 measured and reported carbon emissions and the actual cost was $24,214. I am also advised that, to date, the Outdoor Access Commission has spent $3,421.17 on its Carbon Neutral Government Programme during financial year 2024/25.
