40357 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Defence: In the Minister’s departments, ministries and agencies, if any, how many employees, if any, have lost or are set to lose their roles, and provide a service to customers, between 27 November 2023 and 10 July 2024?

Hon Judith Collins: The Ministry of Defence has not proposed any redundancies. It is likely that the New Zealand Defence Force will have to reduce the civilian workforce, and will invite expressions of interest for voluntary redundancy from August.
