40305 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister for Children: In the Minister’s departments, ministries and agencies, if any, how many employees, if any, have lost or are set to lose their roles, and provide a service to customers, between 27 November 2023 and 10 July 2024?

Hon Karen Chhour: A total of 419 roles have been identified for disestablishment in the final decisions announced on 26 June 2024. Oranga Tamariki is unable to provide further detail on specific roles and locations at this time, as implementation and transition to the new organisational structure is currently underway.
