40244 (2025). Tangi Utikere to the Minister of Transport: Further to his reply to Question 38451 (2025), can officials determine how much of the $786 million spent over three years was spent on road cones and if not, why not?

Hon Chris Bishop: I am advised by NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi (NZTA) that the portion of the $786 million cost, which is specifically for road cones cannot be determined. Temporary traffic management (TTM) is a single line item in NZTA contracts, as such, NZTA does not hold the cost of road cones.
