40242 (2025). Tangi Utikere to the Minister of Transport: Further to his reply to Question 38451 (2025), how much, if anything, did NZTA spend on maintenance projects for State Highways in 2024/25 and how much of that was spent on temporary traffic management?

Hon Chris Bishop: I am advised by NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi (NZTA) that the total cost of maintenance and operations works (physical works) for the 2024/25 financial year was $222,024,000 and the total maintenance and operations temporary traffic management (TTM) cost was $32,607,000. The TTM costs as percentage of total cost was 14.7%
