Lan Pham to the Minister for Land Information: Has Land Information New Zealand finished developing its "five‑year AMD [acid mine drainage] monitoring programme", which it "expected to commence in late 2026 and continue through to 2030", as noted in the document BRF 26-272 Aide-mémoire: Stockton Mine?

Mike Butterick: No. The five-year acid mine drainage monitoring programme remains under development and is on track to be finalised by the end of 2026. Land Information New Zealand (LINZ) anticipates the monitoring programme to commence in early 2027.
