Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Science, Innovation and Technology: In the Minister’s departments, ministries and agencies, if any, how many employees, if any, have lost or are set to lose their roles, and provide a service to customers, between 27 November 2023 and 10 July 2024?

Hon Judith Collins: As Minister of Science, Innovation and Technology (SI&T), I have no responsibility for any government departments or Ministries. With regard to agencies under the SI&T portfolio, 29 roles have been removed that provided some limited services to customers and/or interacted with customers. These roles were located in Auckland (7), Wellington (15) and Christchurch (7).
