Hon Simon Watts: Ministers discussed the Nationally Determined Contribution milestones for 2024 would include: • Submission of the first Biennial Transparency Report • Agreeing an approach to setting New Zealand’s second NDC, with this due in early 2025 An additional milestone was discussed but it is not in the public interest to release, on the basis it is necessary to protect the confidentiality of advice tendered by officials.
