Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: In my capacity as the Prime Minister, I am the responsible minister for the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC). The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) is a departmental agency hosted by DPMC. I am advised that DPMC and NEMA have not commenced any consultations with respective staff relating to changes to employment roles, employment numbers and any other employment conditions for the week beginning 18 August 2025.
