40101 (2025). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Associate Minister of Education: How many, if any, school lunches were delivered late during the week of 11th August 2025, expressed as an overall number?

Hon David Seymour: I am advised that the Ministry of Education (the Ministry) does not track lunches across all suppliers and internal meal providers in the programme on a weekly basis. During the week of 11 August 2025, the School Lunch Collective (SCL) delivered 503,006 lunches. The SCL informed the Ministry that 18 schools received their lunches late. This was due to frozen meals that required extra heating time in two production kitchens.
