40069 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the last quarter toward the action ‘National and regional hospital operating models and control centres (one year)’ as detailed on page 50,51 of Te Whatu Ora’s Quarterly Performance Report (January to March 2024)?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that during the January to March 2024 quarter baseline definitions and principles were established with a sector working group along with a draft of the national escalation framework. Additionally, during the January to March 2024 quarter, the integrated operations centres working group was established and a standard daily operating rhythm for hospitals to support hospital flow was also developed and agreed across the regions.
