Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that during the January to March 2024 quarter, progress was made in scoping and planning actions toward ‘National booking system, referral management and waitlist management’. Work is also underway to define national standards and policy for operational access, booking, and waitlist processes. I am also advised that during the quarter, work continued on other tools that will contribute to reducing variation between districts and regions, and providing patients with greater certainty that their referral will be managed in the same way no matter where they live.
