40053 (2024). Hon Julie Anne Genter to the Minister of Transport: Was a Climate Implications of Policy Assessment completed for the Government Policy Statement on Land Transport, and if so, what, if anything, did it say would be the emissions impact of the new GPS, in CO2-e?

Hon Simeon Brown: Decisions on the National Land Transport Programme and the final mix of projects and programmes rest with the NZTA Board. The NZTA will consider emissions impacts from transport projects as part of their approval process.
