40016 (2024). Debbie Ngarewa-Packer to the Minister of Immigration: How, if at all, will the Minister look to support the displaced people of Gaza once the aggression is over?

Hon Erica Stanford: The Minister who leads our response to the conflict in Gaza is the Minister of Foreign Affairs. New Zealand remains committed to humanitarian support for the people of Gaza. New Zealand also remains committed to our refugee pathways through the UNHCR which support 1,500 refugees who have fled or been displaced by conflict and/or persecution every year.
