39967 (2025). Steve Abel to the Associate Minister of Agriculture: What advice, if any, did the Minister receive about the Code of Welfare for Pigs and associated regulations during his meeting with NZ Pork on 12 March 2025?

Hon Andrew Hoggard: Representatives of New Zealand Pork communicated their position on the key aspects of the Code of Welfare for Pigs and associated regulations. Decisions on the revised Code of Welfare for Pigs and associated regulations are under active consideration. I will make announcements when decisions have been confirmed by Cabinet.
