39962 (2025). Hon Dr Deborah Russell to the Minister of Science, Innovation and Technology: Has the Minister requested the report evaluating the research and development tax credit regime as required by section LY 10 of the Income Tax Act 2007?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: The former Minister of Science, Innovation and Technology directed MBIE to commission a report evaluating the Research and Development Tax Incentive, to fulfil the requirements of Section LY10 of the Tax Act 2007. MBIE commissioned Motu Economic and Public Policy Research to complete this evaluation.
