39795 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: How many requests, if any, have been declined by Te Whatu Ora to fill funded specialist and doctor vacancies since the recruitment pause was announced on 13 June 2024 in the month June 2024, listed by hospital?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised by Health New Zealand that there is no recruitment pause for specialist and doctor vacancies and that no requests have been declined.
