Hon Simeon Brown: I have received advice regarding the review of the Clean Car Importer Standard and its targets. As a result of the review, I received advice recommending aligning New Zealand’s targets with those of Australia. By title and date, the advice was provided in the following briefings: • ‘’OC231156 Proposed timetable and approach for the 2024 Clean Car Standard’s CO2 targets review’’, dated 19 January 2024. • ‘’OC240160 Update on the work related to the Clean Car Standard’’, dated 6 March 2024. • ‘’OC240274 Outcome of the review of the Clean Car Importer Standard’’, dated 15 May 2024.
