Hon Chris Bishop: Horticulture New Zealand wrote to me on 7 July 2026 on the implications for commercial vegetable production arising from the Environment Court decision on Plan Change 1 dated 8 June 2026. I also attended Federated Farmers’ public meeting on Plan Change 1, held on 8 July 2026 and spoke with representatives of Horticulture New Zealand, Vegetables New Zealand and Pukekohe Vegetable Growers at this event.
