39779 (2024). Greg O'Connor to the Minister for Courts: What is the average active age (days) of active District Court cases, as at the end of each month since December 2023?

Hon Nicole McKee: As separate questions have been asked about the average age of active cases in the Family Court (WPQ 39778 (2024)) and Youth Court (WPQ 39782 (2024)), I am advised that this question has been interpreted to be for the average age of active cases in the Criminal and Civil divisions of the District Court, as at the end of each month, from December 2023 to June 2024. I refer the Member to tables 1a and 1b, attached.
