Lan Pham to the Associate Minister for the Environment: What correspondence, if any, did the Associate Minister have with industry bodies representing farmers prior to announcing the disapplication of the "prescribed nitrogen reductions" in the Manawatū/Whanganui region that would have taken effects under Plan Change 2, as outlined in a Beehive press release from 19 August 2026?

Hon Andrew Hoggard: My office handles a high volume of communications each week and compiling a detailed record of this would require significant time and resources. I do not believe that listing each communication represents a good use of staff time.
