Lan Pham to the Associate Minister for the Environment: What correspondence, if any, did the Associate Minister have with industry bodies representing farmers prior to announcing the "prevent[ion] [of] the restrictive elements on Plan Change 1 from applying during the transition period to the new planning system", as outlined in a Beehive press release from 19 August 2026?

Hon Andrew Hoggard: My office handles a high volume of communications each week and compiling a detailed record of this would require significant time and resources. I do not believe that listing each communication represents a good use of staff time.
