39734 (2026). Tangi Utikere to the Minister of Transport: What are the maximum and minimum New Zealand Transport Agency normal funding assistance rates, and the overall National Land Transport Fund co-investment rate, being the average share of local land transport programmes met nationally from the Fund, broken down by the 2024-27 and 2027-30 National Land Transport Programme periods?

Hon Chris Bishop: I am advised that the maximum normal Funding Assistance Rate (FAR) is set at 75% for approved organisations, with the following exceptions: 88% for the Chatham Islands Council, and 100% for Waitangi Trust Board. I am advised that the minimum normal FAR is set at 51%.
