Tangi Utikere to the Minister of Transport: What estimate, if any, has been made of the additional cost falling on regional councils and unitary authorities as a result of changes to New Zealand Transport Agency public transport funding assistance rates over the three years of the 2027-30 National Land Transport Programme, broken down by council and by financial year?

Hon Chris Bishop: I am advised that NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi (NZTA) is not able to provide forecasts until the National Land Transport Programme 2027-30 is adopted by the NZTA Board in 2027.
