39704 (2024). Debbie Ngarewa-Packer to the Minister of Immigration: What organisations, stakeholders, individuals, or groups, if any, has the Minister consulted with regarding immigration visa waivers for Palestinians, by title and date?

Hon Erica Stanford: I have not undertaken any consultation regarding immigration visa waivers for Palestinian nationals. Any request from any country for visa waiver status is only considered after significant analysis of the benefits, risks and trade-offs including risks to New Zealand’s border integrity and national security.
