39692 (2024). Teanau Tuiono to the Minister for Workplace Relations and Safety: Is the work programme "better protections for vulnerable contractors" still underway, or has this been stopped in favour of a different work programme around contractors, and if so, what is this work programme called?

Hon Brooke van Velden: I am advised that the “Better Protections for Vulnerable Contractors” work was paused by the previous Government. The work currently underway to provide greater certainty for contracting parties is part of a broader stream of work to improve the Employment Relations Act 2000. There is no specific name for this area of work.
