39673 (2024). Hon Ginny Andersen to the Associate Minister of Justice: Is it her view that the firearms registry helps to put the squeeze on the “straw buyer” pipeline: licence holders who legally buy firearms and then sell them to gang members?

Hon Nicole McKee: It is my view that the ongoing review of the firearms registry will determine if the registry is in fact effectively combatting any illegal on-selling of firearms.
