39635 (2025). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Minister for Māori Development: Were any meetings connected to his portfolios during his trip to Hawaiʻi attended by non-government individuals from New Zealand, if so, who and in what capacity?

Hon Tama Potaka: Yes, two representatives from Tainui attended a range of meetings, and my wife attended a cultural engagement and a working dinner, as detailed in the attachment to WPQ 39579. During each of the engagements all individuals introduced themselves, their role and their organisations so it was clear who was representing the NZ government, and who was there from other organisations.
