39626 (2024). Hon Ginny Andersen to the Minister of Police: What is the number of gangs registered on the National Gang List broken down by region for June 2024?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I refer the Member to the attached table which shows the number of individual gangs on the National Gang List (NGL), by police district where the gang members currently reside, as at 8 July 2024. The police district of each gang member is based on the address Police has recorded as the current primary address for each person. There are some instances where the address is not directly geocoded to a district, such as those individuals who have no fixed abode or those who are evading Police and being actively sought.
