39604 (2025). Hon Barbara Edmonds to the Minister of Finance: What are the assumptions behind the claim that 240,000 jobs will be created over the next four years?

Hon Nicola Willis: Forecasts in the Budget Economic and Fiscal Update 2025 forecasts include assumptions on several Government policies that will support a recovery and a pickup in real GDP growth to near 3% in 2025/26 through 2027/28. Investment Boost will incentivise businesses to invest, which will then flow on to faster growth, a stronger economy, and more jobs.
