39602 (2024). Dr Lawrence Xu-Nan to the Minister of Education: When, if ever, are follow-ups, home visits, or any form of contact considered if a home-schooling family is unable to be contacted?

Hon Erica Stanford: I am advised by the Ministry of Education (the Ministry) that all efforts are made to contact families using the contact information provided. Section 38 of the Education and Training Act 2020 does not require a regular check-in or follow-up with home educating families.
