39596 (2026). Teanau Tuiono to the Prime Minister: What information, advice, assessments, or briefings received by the Prime Minister since 1 January 2024, if any, refer to minerals, seabed minerals, critical minerals, or mineral exploration in relation to the Penrhyn Port Redevelopment Project?

Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: In my capacity as the Prime Minister, I am the responsible minister for the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC). I regularly request and receive advice from officials on a range of matters relating to my Prime Minister portfolio. Since 1 January 2024, I have not received advice from DPMC that refers to minerals, seabed minerals, critical minerals, or mineral exploration in relation to the Penrhyn Project.
