Ingrid Leary to the Minister for Mental Health: Does he agree with Dr Hiran Thabrew, chairman of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists New Zealand committee, that the government promised to fund additional 13 psychiatry registrar positions; and, when, if at all, will these positions be funded?

Hon Matt Doocey: This quote is from a National Party campaign policy for which I do not have responsibility for as Minister. Growing the Mental Health and Addiction workforce is a priority for this Government as stated in our mental health priorities and targets.
