Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: I am advised it is not possible to provide a specific timeframe due to the extensive research and collation involved as the report in question does not provide a list of companies, and some of the companies mentioned throughout the report may conduct business under a range of trading names, legal sub-entities, or not trade in New Zealand. It would not be in the public interest to divert officials from their core work to analyse the full report, identify whether any of the companies trade in New Zealand (including under different names and/or different legal sub-entities) and check procurement records against company and/or trading and/or sub-entity names.
