39433 (2024). Debbie Ngarewa-Packer to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made on the five health targets announced on the 8 March 2024?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: The Government’s five health targets came into effect on 1 July 2024. In preparation for this, Health New Zealand and the Ministry of Health have been developing implementation and monitoring plans. The Government released its Government Policy Statement on Health 2024-2027 on 30 June 2024, outlining performance improvement expectations against the five health targets for the next 3 years.
