39369 (2024). Rt Hon Chris Hipkins to the Prime Minister: What advice, reports, briefings, aide-memoires, risk-registers, or any other documents, if any, has the Prime Minister or any member of their Office received during the week of 24 June 2024, by title and date?
Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: As Prime Minister, I regularly request and receive advice from officials on a range of matters.
In my capacity as the Prime Minister, jointly with the Minister for Emergency Management and Recovery I received the following document between 24-28 June 2024:
• North Island Weather Event: Progress Update on Categorisation, Buyouts, Sediment and Debris, Infrastructure and Local Transport Projects, 27 June 2024.
I have also received briefings from the Policy Advisory Group, a business unit of DPMC, during the requested timeframe, however, I am not releasing the titles of these briefings.
In addition, staff in my office may informally receive documents, including draft documents, from my officials in DPMC and from other agencies, and from Ministers’ offices. This information is not held in a format that can be easily extracted within the time frame.
