39283 (2025). Scott Willis to the Minister of Transport: How many Requests for Proposals (RFPs) were received for the new concessionary loans model for public EV charging infrastructure, and how many chargers would these RFPs provide?

Hon Chris Bishop: I am advised by the Ministry of Transport that six proposals were received in response to the Request for Proposal (RFP). The number of charge points associated with these proposals is commercially sensitive and cannot be disclosed at this time. Disclosure would potentially prejudice commercial negotiations.
