39261 (2025). Vanushi Walters to the Minister of Justice: When, if at all, did a Cabinet Committee receive the draft or final Attorney-General’s report about the Electoral Amendment Bill?

Hon Paul Goldsmith: As per section 7 of the Bill of Rights Act 1990 and Standing Order 269, a report of the Attorney-General under the Bill of Rights Act 1990 is presented to the House of Representatives, not a Cabinet Committee.
