39258 (2024). Glen Bennett to the Minister for Economic Development: What is the total headcount as at 01.07.2024 for each of the Minister’s Departments, Ministries, and Agencies?

Hon Melissa Lee: As at 30 June 2024 the total headcount for the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment was 6,308 (or 6,196.5 FTE). This figure includes permanent and fixed term New Zealand employees. Offshore staff, casual employees, contractors, and employees on extended unpaid leave are excluded. As at 1 July 2024 the headcount for New Zealand Growth Capital Partners was 22. As at 1 July 2024 the headcount for New Zealand Trade and Enterprise was 657.
