39256 (2024). Hon Jan Tinetti to the Minister of Education: Is Māori voice being included in the rewriting of the English curriculum; if so, how?

Hon Erica Stanford: The Ministry of Education will engage with principals, subject matter experts, national teaching and learning experts and special interest groups from across the country on the draft English curriculum. This will include Māori voice. Opportunities for feedback have been intentionally built in to the process to ensure the voices of key demographics are captured.
