39250 (2025). Camilla Belich to the Minister for Ethnic Communities: What pilot programmes, if any, have been initiated by any departments or agencies for which the Minister is responsible since 27 November 2023, and what were their commencement dates, durations, funding sources and amounts, objectives, and current status?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised by the Ministry for Ethnic Communities that one pilot programme has been initiated since 27 November 2023. The Muslim Young Leaders Programme took place between 19 and 22 May 2025 and cost $53,104.98 which was funded by the Ministry for Ethnic Communities. While the Youth Leaders Programme was successful, there are no current plans to continue the programme unless funding is secured.
