Camilla Belich to the Minister responsible for the NZSIS: What pilot programmes, if any, have been initiated by any departments or agencies for which the Minister is responsible since 27 November 2023, and what were their commencement dates, durations, funding sources and amounts, objectives, and current status?

Hon Judith Collins: I am informed that one pilot programme was initiated by the NZSIS since 27 November 2023. I do not consider releasing the details of this pilot to be in the public interest. I understand the NZSIS is always looking to improve how it works and delivers services to its customers. To this point, opportunities to trial new ways of working are a regular consideration in its operations.
